So, I've come up with an idea that's beginning to take shape and form something of a splattered ice cream kind of look. Thick clumps follwed by flat rolling streams and the occassional puddle collectively represent my idea for my blog: Midnight net-surfing. Anything that I find that seems interesting or useful I will identify it, and maybe attempt to assess why I like it and how it may be useful.
For tonight....just this...one of the greatest games on earth...PETANQUE!

I confess I had to look up "petanque," and I'm still not sure I know what it is (I did have a bocce set--direct from Italy, where my favorite cousin & his family lived for awhile, when I was a kid--but I don't remember how to play that, either...
(But perhaps because of your post, I'll see if my mom still has the set, teach myself how to play, again, and then pass both the set and the knowledge down to my niece and nephew (who coincidentally, were also born in Italy.)
Anyway... I saw your comment at American Power (you may recall that I'm the "repsac3" to whom the post was directed--my retort is here, should you be the slightest bit interested), and I just wanted to stop by and see what else you had to say...
Obviously though, blogging didn't turn out to be your thing, thus far... I understand... It's not for everyone. (You did have a good concept there, should you ever be in the mood, even occasionally.)
Anyway, I just figured I'd say hello. And now I have.
